Romantic May Wedding

Adam & Gina's romantic May wedding at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, was a joy to be a part of, right from the beginning!

Adam & Gina wanted to have a truly intentional wedding day. They kept things simple & intimate by not having a bridal party and centering the day around their commitment to each other. We helped them schedule time before guests arrived for a very sweet First Look followed by an amazing photo shoot all throughout the breathtaking gardens on the Kanapaha grounds.

Could there be a more exotic or beautiful location for a First Look? I just LOVE how First Looks give couples such wonderful time to connect and relax together on their wedding day!

All the puppy love feels!! How cute are Adam & Gina's fur babies?

Pro Tip: When you want those adorable photos with your pups on your wedding day, but think the whole day may be too much for them to handle, have your planner schedule some time in the timeline for a trusted friend to bring them for a few photos. After you get the pics, your friend or pet sitter can bring them back home.

Gina was just breathtaking! I adored her beautiful tiered gown! Fun Fact: Adam's mom made all the floral arrangements AND Gina's bouquet! Gina's mom handled the linens and all the extra special décor details - it was a total family affair!

It's worth repeating that when you're a couple that's creating a lot, or the majority, of your décor it's so important to have a plan in place for who's responsible for setting up and breaking it all down for you. For Adam & Gina - we took care of all the setup while they enjoyed getting ready with friends and family.

Adam & Gina's ceremony may have been simple with no bridal party, but it was over-the-top full of intimacy and love! Married under Kanapaha Garden's picturesque Wedding Oak, the afternoon sun streaming through the branches was wedding perfection.

For Covid safety, dinner was held on the porch and actually overlooked their lovely cocktail hour!

HUGE shout-out to Adam, our GROOM, who baked and decorated ALL the cupcakes and cutting cake!! How adorable are the profession accents for both their jobs on the cupcakes?!

Adam & Gina's also shared their First Dance on the porch then opened all the doors for a dancing space with plenty of Covid-friendly ventilation inside as well. They chose to do a joint Parent Dance which is such a great idea when one or more of the dancers isn't crazy about being center stage. Genius Entertainment handled the multiple dancing locations with amazing expertise and kept the dance floor full the rest of the night as well!

Have you heard of an Anniversary Dance?! It's where the longest married couple ends up the final dancers on the floor. In this group ALL these couples pictured were still dancing when they got to 35+ years! Seriously, that never happens! What a testament to love & marriage in these families!

I just HAD to share their incredible highlight video from the talented Platinum Digital Video. It captures perfectly how magical their romantic May wedding day was, start to finish.

After their day, Adam took the time to share these words on our platforms:

From Adam:

Rachel and her team are beyond amazing! They made sure that every single detail was thought out and had a backup plan for anything that could come up.
If you are planning even a small, intimate wedding, planners are a MUST. Rachel thought of necessities that hadn’t even entered our minds and made our day the most magical experience it could have possibly been. She has the knowledge and the skillset to handle any size wedding.
Her team made our wedding an absolute masterpiece and my new wife and I could not be happier. Every guest was raving about all the details and intricacies that made the entire day so enjoyable. Little did they know that Rachel and her team were behind each and every one of them!

When you get this kind of a review from your groom, it stays with you...When someone writes about what you do in this way, it really means everything. I'm incredibly touched and honored to have played a part in helping their day become the day they dreamed about.

Congratulations again Adam & Gina! Thanks for letting us be a part of your adventure!
